I would like to thank parents, staff, and students for making my transition
to Ventura Elementary School a truly enjoyable experience! In the short
time that I have been here, I have been overwhelmed by the support and
commitment for our children at Ventura.
I want to assure you that the teachers and staff have been working very
hard and are dedicated to providing a quality education for your children.
Ventura is a TERRIFIC school with many reasons to be proud. I look forward
to continuing the traditions and enhancing this pride.
As we move forward embracing the challenges of the upcoming year, it
is important to understand that education is something that does not
stop once the school day has ended. Parents have a critical role to
play in the education of their children. We ask you to read with your
children -nightly. Make sure that they complete their homework, get
enough rest and are prepared for the school day. Finally, get involved
in your school. Join PTA, support our fundraisers, and "Bump-Up"
Saturdays. Together we will make a difference.
